The short film festival “Petit Plan: Americana II, was concluded on Friday 21st October at the Hellenic American Union. The festival took place between 19-21 October and invited 3 established US film festivals to curate a film programme of short films each. The festivals that curated the film programmes are:

• Miami Short Film Festival, which presented a programme of young directors

• Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, which presented a queer programme

• Children’s Film Festival Seattle, which presented a programme for children

Over 700 people attended the film screenings over the 3-day event and special guests presented the film programmes. Specifically: Soultana Koumoutsi, artistic director of Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival presented the Miami Short Film Festival film programme, Mel Kalfanti of Positively Different Short Film Festival and Theodosis Geltis of OrlandoLGBTQ+ presented the Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival programme and Koula Panagou, educational activities director of the Network for Children’s Rights, presented the Children’s Film Festival Seattle programme.
